2XU in Ironman partnership

Compression garment specialist now preferred supplier to Ironman series

2XU has signed a two-year deal to become the preferred supplier of compression apparel to the Ironman and Ironman 70.3 events.

It struck a deal with the World Triathlon Corporation (WTC) to become exclusive official compression partner for the Ironman series, adding to its position as existing supplier to Triathlon Australia, Triathlon New Zealand and the United Healthcare Pro Cycling Team, amongst many others.

“We are excited to partner with 2XU, a leader in the industry,” said Mike Pine, chief sales officer at WTC. “The quality and technology of the 2XU product will support our participants in their pursuit of peak performance.”

2XU director of sales and marketing Aidan Clarke said: “2XU has invested significant resources toward developing and leading the global understanding of high-performance compression products.

“In understanding the undeniable and proven gains for endurance athletes, it’s only logical for us to unite with the Ironman brand that is so synonymous with incredible feats of human endurance.”
