Asics Gel Landreth 7 is named best shoe in the Runner’s World PB Awards

Asics has announced that the Gel Landreth 7 has been awarded the Personal Best: Best Shoe award for 2012. Readers of RunnersWorld.co.uk voted for the award

In the fifth annual Runner’s World Personal Best Awards, the shortlist was chosen by an expert panel, including editors that selected eight of the most popular shoes on the market. The final winner was chosen by RW readers/visitors after weeks of online voting.

Runner’s World commented, “Something of an unsung hero in the Asics range, the Gel Landreth 7 is a jack of all trades suitable for supinators, neutral runners and those with mild stability.”

Alistair Cameron, President and CEO of Asics Europe B.V said, “Asics is proud to receive this award from the readers of Runner’s World. The Gel Landreth has always been a popular shoe, winning best update in Runner’s World’s Autumn Winter 2011 Shoe Guide and the award demonstrates Asics really is the runner’s choice.”

Runner’s World readers added, “We particularly love the reduced weight, asymmetrical lacing and lower profiled midsole amid a myriad of other impressive tweaks. The Gel Landreth 7 is a shoe with a lot of bang for its buck.”
