David Goffin and Julia Goerges will represent ASICS on and off the court as the brand looks to build on its strong growth in tennis. ASICS is currently the number one tennis footwear brand in Spain, Italy, Germany and France. The deal will see each player wear ASICS latest performance tennis footwear, apparel and accessories in competition and training.
As a global brand ambassadors, each player will also represent ASICS across other performance categories, such as the recently launched Training range, as well as the brand’s lifestyle expression, ASICS Tiger and Onitsuka Tiger.
Belgian ATP world #16 Goffin is the highest ranked Belgian tennis player in history at just 25 years old. Commenting on the partnership with ASICS, he said: “I am delighted to have signed with ASICS as I look to build on a strong 2015 season. With the backing of ASICS, and their heritage in creating technologically advanced tennis footwear and apparel, I am really excited about the 2016 season.”
