CPLG to take Fulham global

Licensing firm CPLG Sport has been hired by Premier League football club Fulham to grow its brand in the UK and overseas

CPLG Sport has signed a three-year agreement to become the licensing agent for Premier League football club Fulham.

The deal covers worldwide rights to the Fulham license so CPLG will be working to build on the Premier League’s global popularity to boost the Fulham brand overseas as well as in the UK, CPLG said.

Fulham is London’s oldest football club dating back to 1879 and plays at Craven Cottage, a ground situated on the banks of the Thames in West London. It has played in the Premier League since 2001 and reached the final of the Europa League in the 2009/10 season.

CPLG Sport s already represents the FA, Wembley Stadium and rival Premier League club West Ham.

CPLG Sports’ Gary Jacobson said: “Fulham is an iconic football club and we’re very excited about the licensing prospects for the Fulham brand, which can work across any number of categories.”
