Crewroom adds two more stores

Crewroom, the Putney-based sportskit company that officially clothes both the Oxford and Cambridge crews in The Boat Race, is spreading its wings opening two new local stores.

Today marks the opening of Crewroom’s new branch in Clapham, with the Mayor of Wandsworth, Cllr. Nicola Nardelli, coming to officially declare the shop (at 79, Northcote Road, Clapham SW11 6PJ) open at 3pm.

The store, opposite pizza parlour Franco Manca, will be unveiling a retro-cool ‘locker room’ decor, and will feature sports hall-style rubber-mat flooring, a vaulting horse and caged kit lockers. There are even paddleboards hanging from the ceiling.

Fashionable sports kit on sale will include all the top items from Crewroom’s popular and colourful ‘Americana’ summer range (pictured below), such as their vibrant new vests, T-shirts, colourful shorts and crops. Regular favourites like our North-west Hoodies, hats and visors will also be available
Crewroom is also famed for being behind the race shirts for the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon in October. More details at 2

Tomorrow, Crewroom’s elite sports team will also be on hand to answer any training & nutrition queries you may have.

Crewroom Founder Kate Giles, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled that The Mayor is able to open our new store. It’s a very exciting new chapter in the Crewroom story. We’re all about staying fit, enjoying the elements in the height of summer, running, paddleboarding, trail running and all your other favourite sports.

“We’ve wanted to be part of the Clapham community for some time and when this opportunity came up in Northcote Road, we jumped at the chance.”

Fast-growing in popularity, Crewroom, whose main HQ is on Putney Embankment, is opening a second new store (their third) in Putney Exchange Shopping Centre later this summer.
