Dulux latest to get in on darts

DIY chain joins growing list of big-name sponsors using growing popularity of darts as a means to target core audience

Dulux Decorator Centres have become the latest big-name brand to get behind one of darts top players.

Dulux Decorator Centres have signed a two-year sponsorship deal with Adrian Lewis, following the recent announcement by Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles that it has signed 12-month sponsorship packages with James Wade and Mark Webster.

Lewis is the current PDF World Champion, and Dulux Decorator Centres said sponsoring him will help it reach its core audience, which are being swept up with the growing interest in darts.

Beverley Whitehead, marketing and communications manager at Dulux Decorator Centres, said: “Darts is a great spectator sport for all the family, and is particularly popular with painters and decorators and so our partnership with Adrian will give us a fantastic platform to reach our target audience. 

“This is a completely new venture for Dulux Decorator Centres and equally a very exciting time for us, and Adrian is the perfect ambassador for the brand.”
