Asics has today announced that British silver medallist and IPC World Gold medallist Paralympic sprinter Libby Clegg has signed a two year footwear and apparel sponsorship deal with the true sport performance brand. Libby is registered blind and competes in the T12 100m and 200m race with the aid of guide runner, whom Asics will also supply with footwear and apparel as part of the deal.
Commenting on the partnership, Clegg said: “I am extremely excited to sign with Asics as I strive to reach my goals in what is a huge year in 2016.”
Asics will develop the latest innovative footwear and apparel for Clegg on the track, whilst she will also be seen in the Asics training range and lifestyle Asics Tiger collection off the track.
