Intersport readies for Q4 show

Buying group prepares for Q4 show; focus on hockey, squash and badminton

The Intersport Q4 buying show will focus on hockey, squash and badminton.

Intersport said over 90 per cent of members attend its quarterly shows, with prospective members also keen to make an appearance.

Suppliers also relish the opportunity to showcase themselves to the trade, according to Intersport, with 44 set to exhibit at the Q4 show including adidas and Nike as well as eight showcase suppliers.

The Intersport area will feature new international winter and racquet equipment collections, and an Olympic focus leading up to 2012.

The Intersport Q4 buying show takes place March 30-31 in Solihull, with a race night on the first evening providing entertainment for members and suppliers alike. 

Intersport general manager Tom Foley, taking charge of his first quarterly show since taking over from Barry Mellis, said: “The Intersport shows are an important strategic part of the calendar, and there is a real momentum driving them forward with a growing membership and strong relationships with the brands.

“The recent focus on developing marketing initiatives with the reward card, brochures and brand campaigns is now in place and we will continue to develop these with each quarter to offer members the best support.”
