Over the weekend of the 30th of April and 1st of May 2016, global off-road, obstacle event series Tough Mudder kicked off its 13 event UK season together with its new worldwide Presenting Partner, outdoor footwear and apparel brand Merrell. Tough Mudder London West, which took place just outside Henley on Thames, attracted over 18,000 participants together with their 5,000 supporters over the course of the weekend.
As global Tough Mudder Presenting Partner, Merrell branding will be prominent around each of the 60+ worldwide Tough Mudder events, both on the course and in each of the event ‘villages’ as well as on all tickets and marketing materials.
To celebrate its partnership with Tough Mudder, Merrell has also created an exclusively branded and designed trail shoe, to tackle all elements of the famed and feared Tough Mudder obstacle course – the All Out Tough Mudder.
