Pattni ups Match Stars retailer support

Tie-up with football magazine trio to drive interest in football action figure range and support sales

Pattni Imaginations has signed promotional agreements with three consumer football magazines in a bid to strengthen market awareness of its soon-to-launch Match Stars football actions figures, driving sales and supporting its retail partners.

Match, Kick! and Match of the Day magazines will each promote Match Stars football action figures in different ways. The Match website will offer an exclusive online competition, whilst Match of the Day will launch monthly giveaways of Match Stars figures. Kick! will promote the brand through its magazine and Facebook page.

Pattni Imaginations said all three magazines have a readership of teen and pre-teen football fans and are the perfect vehicles to support the launch of the Match Stars range.

Pattni Imaginations has made clear its desire to work with sports retailers to offer the Match Stars football action figure range as a supplementary revenue stream to traditional football equipment.

Pattni Imaginations managing director Mayur Pattni said: “This is a key step in the Match Stars launch programme as Match, Kick! and Match of the Day are three of the leading football titles and are extremely popular with our target market, so being able to speak to consumers through the magazines and websites will prove incredibly valuable in terms of brand building and promotion.

“With the launch date fast approaching we are also looking to secure some other great promotional opportunities that will really help drive sales of the product and support retailers.”
