Skins signs up Paul Collingwood

England Twenty20 captain Paul Collingwood signed up by Skins as face of brand’s cricketing activity

Australian recovery compression sports clothing manufacturer Skins has signed up England Twenty20 cricket captain Paul Collingwood to be the face of its cricketing activity.

Collingwood will feature on in-store promotional, point-of-sale and competition materials, as well as in Skins promotional activity in the media. He will also help launch new products in 2011.

Collingwood follows on from former England cricket captain Michael Vaughn as the face of Skins’ cricketing activity.

Skins UK general manager David Ling said: “To have another fine English all-rounder on-board really is a mark of how much Skins has come on in the cricket market.”

Skins originated in Australia and Collingwood, who is part of the Ashes Test team due to start defending the urn in Brisbane later this month, said: “With this important Tour, I’m looking forward to turning it against the great sporting country it originates from.”
