SKINS’ wins ‘product of the year’ in Paris

SKINS’ newly-launched A400 range has been awarded ‘Product of the Year’ in the Equipment and Accessories category at the inaugural ‘Sommet de la Course a Pied’ held in the French capital prior to this year’s Paris Marathon.

The day-long event was co-ordinated by the French Athletics Federation (FFA) and was aimed at bringing together key players from the French running market – including equipment manufacturers, top sports brands and sporting journalists. It covered six key discussion topics, including sports health and technological innovations, and culminated in an awards ceremony aimed at recognising the ‘Event of the Year’ and ‘Product of the Year’.

SKINS’ fought off tough competition within its category, including Raidlight’s trail backpack and the Jabra Sport Wireless Headphones. But, the jury of running experts headed by FFA President, Bernard Amsalem, agreed that SKINS’ state-of-the-art new A400 range deserved top prize – thanks to its ‘quality, efficiency and the overall innovative spirit of the brand.’

The new A400 range, which features SKINS’ unique Dynamic Gradient Compression Technology, was launched in February this year with evolutionary refinements and upgrades, raising the bar in the compression wear market to unparalleled heights.

Emmanuel Lorenzato, General Manager of SKINS in France, was officially presented with the trophy prior to the start of the 2015 Paris Marathon. He said: “Our new A400 range is already proving to be incredibly popular since its launch in February, as word is quickly spreading about its advanced compression technology and premium performance.”

He added: “To be recognised with this award by such an esteemed jury of running experts is a magnificent acknowledgement for the continual expertise and innovation of SKINS.”
