A new capsule collection of swimwear and apparel inspired by a woman’s need for rest and relaxation has been created by Speedo. Called Mind.Body.Speedo, the range includes pieces designed for freedom and self-indulgence at the spa, pool or gym.
The collection’s swimwear features the trade marked Sculpture fabric, which sculpts, contours and cocoons the body, flattering natural shape and providing solid support for freedom of movement in and out of the water. Discreet, a seam free bust and tummy control offer further support.
Swim pieces within this collection feature Endurance+, the latest fabric innovation from the company. Chlorine resistant, water-durable and with quick drying properties, Endurance + reinforces the glove-like fit provided by Sculpture. These fabrics also ensure that, whatever the environment, each piece withstands damaging elements such as salt water and chlorine. The range of apparel within the collection marks the first time Speedo has created pieces that can be incorporated into daily leisure and lifestyles. A variety of wrap tops, track pants, slouch tops and tanks cater for every taste, age and body shape. The range is available in a variety of muted colours and tones including Titanium, Raven and Tomato. Styles are contemporary and comfortable to wear with fine, functional detailing. The Mind.Body.Speedo collection combines support, comfort and technical fabrics with beautiful designs and silhouettes. The result, said the company, is a collection that ensures the wearer has the confidence to look great while relaxing and unwinding the mind and body.
Meanwhile, Speedo has taken the beach to the streets for its new SS07 Beach Volleyball collection. The new range of swimwear and apparel is urban and cutting edge, having been inspired by the sport’s youthful energy. Featuring practical racer back styles, tanktinis and two-pieces with co-ordinating hipster skirts, the product range has been designed to perform during the most intense workouts and activities. Men and women’s styles feature new trim details such as stripe elastic. A long sleeve rash vest for men is also available.
