Heading in the right direction
The LIV helmet from HEAD has an automatic thermal venting system that regulates the climate of the head regardless of how hot things are on the slopes. Instead of causing pressure indentations, a fluffy micro teddy inner lining (even on the chin strap) is said to be affectionate to the skin. This super-light in-mould helmet is not only safe and comfortable it is also highly fashionable.
The removable ear pads are woven in a handcrafted knitwear design and the trendy colours of the matt surface are adorned with 3-D design elements. Just like with the LIV the PRO will be available next winter in an audio version, individually designed by HEAD – an en vogue feature for an urban skate style inspired helmet. Its indescribable design with the multi-coloured surface and graffiti logo will ensure it really stands out. With the logo template that comes with the helmet, wearers can also give it an individual touch. Equipped with thermal venting and processed with an interior mould, the Pro will soon be at home in ski parks everywhere.
Completely new from HEAD is the co-ordination of the design between the helmets and skis like with the STRATUM MONSTOR, which fits perfectly with the eponymous MONSTOR Ski. Equipped with Radiant Ventilation System, every one of the STRATUM line helmets is optimally ventilated. Thanks to the antimicrobial Agion inner lining and HEAD Lock, the helmet is not only hygienic - it fits well too. Additional combinations are the STRATUM SUPERSHAPE and the STRATUM THANG. The board TRANSIT I. TEAM also has its own helmet, the PRO TEAM, which features the retrophoto print optics.
Those who prefer a more classic, ageless look will be well served with the STRATUM PRO. This elegant helmet utilises STRATUM technology - enhanced by a separately adjustable ventilation opening, which is part of the Radiant Venting System or a matt rubber touch finish on the surface of the helmet. The look is complemented by leather ear pads, which are stilted by a seemingly aristocratic Burlington pattern on the interior. The body protection has also been improved. Not only have numerous back protectors from the TH 1 to the TH 12 been made 25% lighter in comparison to last season, their performance has also been enhanced. It is often forgotten that the top model TH 12 jacket is actually a back protector. Moulded elbow sections, a fleece collar and asymmetrical design elements not only make the TH12 jacket unconditionally functional they also provide it with a cool look. The protection unit is precisely modelled on the anatomical form of the spine while combining maximal flexibility with optimal protection. It can also be removed from the jacket and worn separately.
