New for 2007 the elite edition Fitzroy has been researched, tried and tested to the extreme resulting in a pack that really delivers. With a flexi adjust sternum strap for maximum fit and an ergonomic hip belt shaped for comfort, the Fitzroy is a great companion for extreme walking and trekking.
Incorporating the A3 Advanced Anatomical Adjustment back system, the Fitzroy promotes confidence when carrying heavy loads. Featuring biradial technology with Quick-Adjust and ‘acetyl’ dual support rods, the system offers stability comfort and precise 3D controlled fit.
Available in two variations the 60+ 10 retails at £85.00, whilst the 70 + 10 version increases the volume to enable you to carry those added extras and retails at £90.00.
Added benefits that contribute to the Fitroy’s design include twin ice/walking pole attachment points for ease of carrying, a detachable rain cover with night time visibility and extension sleeve with draw cord and top compression strap.
For shorter journeys, a classic and practical day sac takes the form of the Airvent, which features an air ventilation system allowing cool air to circulate between the user and the pack.Great for a really comfortable long day out or a short but extreme one where you need to keep cool, the system allows multi-directional permanent airflow for maximum comfort and ventilation.
The Airvent features two large side pockets in the 25 litre (SRP £40.00) and 35 litre (SRP £45.00) versions and extra compression straps in the 30 + 5 (SRP £45.00) model.
All rucscacs in the ‘Expedition’ range feature air mesh on body contact points to keep the body dry and cool, are hydration compatible for convenient liquid supply on the move, and are complete with a haul handle.
Vango’s adventure range of rucsacs offers the perfect pack for the faster paced expedition. The Ultralite (SRP £45.00) weighs only 700g and is great for mountain marathons and adventure races where weight, stability and durability are crucial.
