New CEO and CFO join the Helly Hansen team
Helly Hansen has announced that it has strengthened its management team with the appointment of Peter Sjölander as its new CEO and Knut Are Høgberg as CFO.
Hugo Maurstad, chairman of the board of directors at Helly Hansen commented:

With the addition of Peter Sjölander as CEO and Knut Are Høgberg as CFO, Helly Hansen has a leadership team that will continue to accelerate the brand’s growth in domestic and international markets.
Peter Sjölander, currently senior vice president product & brand at Electrolux, said to be the world's second largest manufacturer of domestic appliances,will join the Helly Hansen team.
Before heading up Electrolux's Brand, Product and Global Licensing departments, Peter spent almost 15 years with Nike.During those 15 years, he held several senior management positions, both within the European Organisation, located in the Netherlands, as well as the Global Organization located in Oregon,U.S.A. Amongst others Peter headed up Nike's European footwear business, the Global Outdoor division (ACG), Nike's Northern Europe and CEMEA Regions.
Prior to Nike, Peter worked for one of the world's largest Sports Retailers, Intersport International, and for SCA (formerly "Mölnlycke") Consumer Goods Products.
Knut Are Høgberg, joins Helly Hansen from Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he worked as a Manager. During his 11 years at BCG, Knut worked extensively with consumer goods,with a particular focus on operational turnarounds and strategic development.
