Slazenger has invested heavily in the new 2008 range, building upon their established reputation as being a leader in the cricket equipment sector. Premium materials have been used in the new look range, delivering exceptional quality products throughout the collection.
The 2008 range will see three new Slazenger bat profiles - the Pure Blade, Power Blade and the Pro Blade. All three models are endorsed by Slazenger’s England International Brand Ambassadors – ODI Captain Paul Collingwood, and both Ian Bell and Matthew Prior use Slazenger as their bat of choice.Across the new blade series of bats, optimum quality hand-selected English willow and cashmere willow is used to deliver explosive performance throughout the range.
In the protective range there is a striking new X-TEC legguard range, showing a new contemporary look, which delivers outstanding lightweight protective performance. In addition, the X-TEC Chamber and Armour-Tec systems will deliver unrivalled protection in the glove category.Moisture management continues to be an integral part of the products and Micro Vent WRX100 within the batting glove range and the Air Flow System within the leg-guards mean Slazenger will continue to be at the cutting edge of the protective market.
A wide range of new products are available in the personal protection category – of particular note are the new Ultimate titanium helmet, new clothing, luggage and footwear ranges. The new wicket keeping range is endorsed by England Test and ODI wicket keeper Matthew Prior.
