Expedition Foods – Stand 104
Expedition Foods will present at the OTS their new range of 700Kcal and 800Kcal freeze-dried meals that only require the addition of water into the bag to prepare.
Already proven at both the North and South Poles they will certainly prove a success for the home market. Recently used by Dr. Emma Dawber from East Yorkshire who won the six-day ladies race across the Atacama desert, these meals have also been tested and chosen currently by eight crews who will row the Atlantic this December – what more evidence do you need to stock a winner?

In the design of the Race Pro Series packs we took a complete new look at the way in which the runner and fast walker interacts with their packs through the fit, features and functionality. Our unique patent pending H2Orizontal hydration system is one of the main integral features in most of the Race Pro Series. The special bladder can be used across all our hydration packs and is easily accessed from the external back flap opening, meaning no more emptying your pack to fill up the bladder. Positioning the bladder here creates a lower centre of gravity and with the bladder shape fitting around the lumbar region makes the pack a lot more stable. The bladder is also segmented for an ergonomic fit around the lower back which provides lumbar support. This segmentation also reduces water movement when on the move.

ProTrek – Stand 115 at OTS
ProTrek is the new Technical Performance Walking sock range from HJ Hall, sockmakers since 1882 and still a family-owned business. Since its launch in April this year, the ProTrek range has proved extremely popular with retailers and consumers alike winning not only the “Best Buy” award in Outdoor Enthusiast’s recent wearer trials but also being put through the ultimate test when worn by Team Polar Horizon in the Polar Race 2007.
