Patagonia contributes to DEFRA
The UK Department of the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) has recently launched a new initiative to improve sustainability performance of a range of priority products and services including clothing.
Patagonia has been invited to speak early next moth at the DEFRA conference. The Patagonia UK sales manager, Jonathan Petty,will be giving a presentation entitled, ‘Patagonia: using business to inspire solutions to the environmental crisis”
Patagonia proved to be an obvious choice regarding these issues for many reason including the fact that they are used as a business model at Harvard Business School with regard to environmentally focussed business practices.
Patagonia is pleased to be part of this exciting initiative and hope to be able to make a difference and spread the word.
