So far, 2007 has been a great year for Tyr in the UK (and elsewhere in the world) with big increases in turnover across the range. This follows a record year in 2006 under the Italian ownership of Luigi Bonza Srl.
The Spring/Summer collection for 2008 features new colourways in the best-selling Tri-colour H-back tank and bright, Californian inspired prints; Elixir, Sage, Hurricane and Professor.
The Spa Line range of ladies costumes (with added support and a lower leg cut, ideal for the active as opposed to the competitive swimmer) continues to soar in popularity along with the classic men’s swim short styles of Deck, Port and Triple Pipe Challenger.
Producing much of the range in and around Europe has given Tyr UK a great deal of flexibility and many retailers have taken advantage of the ‘core range’ stock service. This provides a fast delivery of the best-selling styles and therefore reduces the amount of inventory that the retailer has to carry.
