F10 from Vango
For nearly 40 years Vango has been engineering the Force Ten with many people having their first camping experience in an orange ‘Vango’.
By forging long-term partnerships between the world’s greatest mountaineers and adventurers such as Chris Bonnington,Doug Scott, Alan Hinkes and Dom Mee, Vango have continually met their demands and provided leading edge designs to match increasingly more difficult objectives. To meet these demands, Force Ten design is now an exact science; the primary target a choice of lightweight, easily pitched designs that the world knows for sure will stand up to the very worst conditions.
The F10 range, which has been updated for 2008, includes the Classic which has a HD PVC nylon (15000 HH) groundsheet, which is tough and durable. It also boasts a Stuffsac with compression straps to reduce the overall pack size, and a repair kit to name just a few USPs.
Helium features ripstop 20D Protex SPU Nylon 3000, a HD Nylon 5000 groundsheet, Flexlite poles, a seam-taped flysheet and groundsheet, flat external pole sleeves and a unique internal bracing system called TBS (Tension Band System), which makes it great for adverse weather conditions.
Vitesse has a new mesh door to prevent insects getting in, a Nylon 8000 groundsheet, single upright poles – which are lighter than walking poles – a porch area and much, much more.
