The North Face has announced two new appointments to its EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) organisational structure.
Timo Schmidt-Eisenhart has joined the company as The North Face Sales Director EMEA, where he will lead and direct The North Face sales team and help position the brand for long term growth.
Over the past seven years, Schmidt-Eisenhart, 35, has served in a variety of leadership positions at Nike’s European Headquarters,where he gained solid experience in strategic and operational sales management.
All European The North Face country managers will report to Schmidt-Eisenhart. He will be based in Treviso, Italy, and will report to Patrik Frisk, VP/General Manager – The North Face EMEA.
René Skytte has been named The North Face Product Director EMEA, reporting to Patrik Frisk, VP/General Manager – The North Face EMEA. Skytte will lead and direct all aspects of the European product line including the identification and definition of current and potential market opportunities, as well as oversee the implementation of European product strategies. All European product managers and product developers will report to him. Skytte, 35, who previously held product management roles in Intersport and most recently in Adidas, brings almost 10 years of international product management experience with sound capabilities of managing the entire product process from initial concept development through to market execution. Skytte will also be based in Treviso, Italy.
Danny Harkin has served as The North Face Product Director EMEA for the past 4 years and successfully led the company’s EMEA product team during a record growth period for the brand.Harkin will be relocating to The North Face San Leandro, USA, offices where he will serve as Product Director International. In this role, Harkin will work closely with The North Face product teams in San Leandro and represent all international product initiatives on a daily basis. He will continue to report to Patrik Frisk.
