New HI-TEC appointments
Following the company's recent appointment of Martin Binnendijk as their new European President, HI-TEC has reinforced its ranks with two promotions and a fresh face.
HI-TEC Chairman Frank van Wezel's son Edward has been promoted to General Manager. Edward van Wezel, 30, has worked at HI-TEC in various roles since 1999 and his new role will see him working closely alongside his father in the day-to-day running of the Global Sports and Outdoor business.
Chris Mole has also been announced as HI-TEC’s Group Sourcing Director. Previously employed at Ernst & Young for the period of 6 years as a Special Projects Consultant, Mole will be responsible for all of HI-TEC’s Production and Logistic issues.
Helen Durant has been promoted to new Group PR Manager. Durant joined the company in 1998 and has been responsible for the UK Advertising & PR campaigns for the last six years. New responsibilities include the company’s public relations and communications within all International markets and relevant media contacts.
