Winmau signs The Viper
Darts brand Winmau has announced the signing of the hugely talented Tony 'The Viper' Eccles.
Tony has been a darts professional since 1999 and has won over 22 World Professional Tour Titles, including the largest Darts Open in the World (the 2005 Dutch Open).
Tony recently ranked Number 2 in the World BDO rankings before making the big decision to switch over to the PDC.

My move over to the PDC came after much consideration, I am very sad to leave the BDO but I wanted to face the new challenge of the PDC, and who knows hopefully one day we can all compete under the same roof,” said Tony.
The Viper currently ranks 65th in the PDC Order of Merit, which may sound low, but when you consider he started from 425th he has achieved this meteoric rise in the space of just three months.
