Umbro presents to key retail partners for 2008
In a presentation to its key retail partners under the arch of the new Wembley stadium last week, Umbro underlined its commitment to being a truly authentic football brand. Owners and buyers from some of Britain’s leading retailers heard how Umbro UK would deliver the brand to the high street for the Euro 2008 tournament year.
The likes of Sports Direct, JJB, Next, M&S, Soccer Scene and JD Sports, among many others, were informed of how Umbro plans to leverage the commercial opportunity offered by its relationship with England and football performance across the retail environment.
Umbro's retail partners were treated to a true brand experience at Wembley, which included:
- A flavour of UMBRO’s new brand campaign for 2008
- The first viewing of the new England away shirt as well as other technical products from the 2008 range
- A guided tour of the newly opened ‘Home of Football’
- An exclusive Q&A session with England great, Alan Shearer
- A personal one-to-one appointment with the FA Cup
- The chance to be one of only four hundred people who have so far graced the hallowed Wembley turf
