Welcome to the November issue of SGB - Sports and Outdoor.
You may have noticed on our cover – from last issue, in fact - we are now a media partner of buying group STAG. This agreement was made after much thought and discussion as one of the best ways to move the magazine forward, in conjunction with one of the most forward thinking buying groups in our industry. With that in mind, we are delighted to be working with STAG.
So what does this mean for you, our readers? Most importantly, it means you can be kept up to date with happenings within the STAG organisation by reading SGB - Sports and Outdoor. For non-members, the content of the magazine will be unaffected and we shall continue to bring you informative features and to improve and refine the publication to make it the best possible title for independent sports and outdoor retailers.
As proof of our commitment to our readers, we have embarked on a digital publishing project which can be seen by following the link from our web site, www.sgb-sports.com. This is not simply downloading a PDF file, it's a full-on streaming Flash representation of the magazine; you can download the pages you want to read 'on the fly' or bring the lot down on to your desktop to look at offline at your leisure. There are many other benefits too, like streaming audio and video for special projects, even animating adverts and more.
