Ordnance Survey offers weatherproof passport to town and country
Ordnance Survey is offering a passport to town and country with a weatherproof series of its most distinctive series of maps.
One of Britain’s best-loved leisure companions, the OS Landranger Map, is the ideal tool for planning trips out. Ordnance Survey is publishing 25 highly durable versions of the series’ most popular titles.
Called OS Landranger Map – Active, the new series keeps the familiar scale of 1:50,000. And each map covers an area of 40 km by 40 km – allowing visitors to explore a whole area in and around their base.
Thanks to an enhanced finishing process, the alternative maps have a lightweight protective plastic coating that can be written on to highlight favourite routes. The tougher, more versatile versions offer more choice for active map users – or those planning trips regardless of the weather.
