Musto’s New Munros Make History
New this season, Musto introduces the Munro Jacket, Breeks and Trousers, all made from an innovative GORE-TEX Performance Shell fabric. The Jacket is available in two colours: Pro Tweed and Light Green, each with matching legwear.
Munro Pro Tweed
Musto’s Pro Tweed print is the first time the proven camouflage benefits of tweed have been applied to a manmade fabric – in this case a durably waterproof and highly breathable GORE-TEX Performance Shell. A two-layer fabric with a brushed polyester face laminated to a GORE-TEX ePTFE membrane, it weighs a mere 168gsm (5 oz per square yard) and eliminates water ‘pick up’ and retention. It is treated with a DWR (Durably Water Repellent) finish and garment seams are sealed with GORE-SEAM tape.
The Munro Jacket has a brushed mesh lining, two-way zip (with the studs concealed in a double stormflap), capacious pockets and microfleece-lined handwarmer pockets, which conceal flap-retainers to keep the cargo pockets open. It also has a zip-off, two-way adjustable, peaked hood and adjustable outer cuffs. The collar and chin-guard are trimmed with synthetic suede for comfort and quick-drying. The Munro Jacket is machine washable.

The matching Munro Pro Tweed Breeks are made from the same light non-absorbent brushed polyester face fabric laminated to a GORE-TEX ePTFE membrane with brushed mesh liner. They have a 21” inside leg with Velcro tab and gusset hem adjuster, synthetic suede trim and two pockets front and back. They are machine washable.
