SGB Sports & Outdoor January
New year, new SGB - Sports and Outdoor. We've made some fairly radical changes to the magazine, and I hope you like them. Our product-led features in the sports section are gone, replaced by a larger area for new products (p22 this issue); this means more pages for real features, about exciting products and technology, and companies you may not know of as a retailer that we think can help you make money.
Also, you should have noticed that the Outdoor pages are now reverse-printed. Flip the magazine over, and you'll find the Outdoor cover, so there's a clear distinction between the two areas, even more than before. With our excellent new content comes a great new look to the publication.
Comments are warmly welcomed, critical or otherwise - without your feedback, we can't evolve the magazine into exactly what you want or need.
Finally, thanks to the lovely people at Timex and Chase PR, I've got an entry into the London Marathon for 2008. This is quite terrifying, as my efforts to run a first marathon in Las Vegas in December ended in injury and a poor effort at a half-marathon, so fingers crossed for this one. I will be using the opportunity to raise money for a charity I support, an anti-bullying organisation called Kidscape which does the most wonderful work. If you'd like to support myself or Kidscape (or both) with sponsorship, gear, or would like to know more, please get in contact. The email address is below. Here's to 2008.
