Vango launches 2008 national sales promotion
Camping equipment and accessories specialists Vango have teamed up with leading Camping & Caravan Club and Forest Holidays to offer its customers a free night's camping as part of its 2008 national sales promotion.
In partnership with the Camping and Caravanning Club of Great Britain and Forest Holidays, the new campaign will run in over 1,000 retail outlets throughout the UK, and will be supported with a media campaign, website links, on product hang tags and an in store POS programme.
The ethos behind the promotion is to share in the customers' experience of the brand well after the purchase of a product has been made. Alastair Moodie, Director of Marketing at Vango comments:
"Our philosophy is to focus on adding value to the brand and giving the consumer something tangible they can use. The "Friendly Club" have invested enormously in their sites over the last few years, and we believe a new generation of campers will use them. Our tents on their sites seems an idyllic partnership."
The new promotion will provide Vango customers the opportunity to put their new purchases to the test at many of the sites offered by the Camping and Caravanning club and Forest Holidays, spread throughout the nation.
To qualify for the promotion, customers must purchase a Vango family tent from any of its 2008 ranges, and stay a minimum of two nights at any of the selected sites.
