PUMA supports athletics
PUMA is the official technical partner for England Athletics after agreeing a three-year deal which will support England's athletes and international teams through to the Commonwealth Games in New Delhi in 2010.
England Athletics CEO Mike Summers was present for the announcement of the new England Athletics and PUMA partnership at the England Athletics Open - Indoor Championships (U20/U17/U15) at the Birmingham NIA.
PUMA will work closely with England Athletics to identify the best athletes at U17 & U20 level in the UK and Ireland across all athletic disciplines. Following on from this will be a national award for one male and female athlete at each age group who will be rewarded with an individual PUMA contract.
England Athletics will provide the opportunity for product testing of PUMA's newest innovations via squads & regional camps
PUMA is also the new scottishathletics kit sponsor, with a three-year contract which will support Scottish athletes and international teams through to the 2010 Commonwealth Games - and ultimately provide a platform for success in Glasgow 2014.
