Salomon wins again with Custom Shell
Salomon has won another award for its newly launched Custom Shell technology, adding the Slide Innovations for Hardware Award 2008 to its Ispo European Ski Award 2008.
The company says the future of ski boot innovation will come from this innovative patented technology, which will be available next season on Salomon's Falcon CS Pro boot.
Previously, customised boot fit has focussed on the liner of the boot, but Salomon's CS technology allows the shell to be customised. In a simple 20-minute process, involving heating the shell and allowing it to cool around the foot, boots will give such a precise fit, there'll be no compromise on comfort; boots designed for your feet by your feet.
The Falcon CS boot will be in snowsports stores nationwide from September 08
