Snugpak appoints buying director
Snugpak, the leading UK sleeping bag manufacturer has appointed Allan Wynne as its buying director. A well known face in the outdoor industry, Allan started as an Assistant Buyer at retailer Barretts of Feckenham/Barretts Outdoors in 1983, and spent the last 10 years as Managing Director. Allan will be responsible for Snugpak's buying function, product development and sourcing.
Allan was attracted to the role with Snugpak as he has dealt with them as a retailer for many years. A keen outdoor enthusiast, Allan is married with two grown-up children.
Snugpak's joint Managing Directors, Mick Dobson and Susan Parrish said: "We are delighted that Allan has joined the team, his many years retail experience will help us design and develop new and innovative products."
Snugpak has been at the forefront of synthetic sleeping bag design technology for the last 30 years and remains a market leader with new product designs and innovations.
