The first big news of the summer, and an exclusive for SGB, is the signing of Essex and England star Ravi Bopara, who will be joining the host of players worldwide choosing the new GM Purist ll. A young player with a big future and Gunn & Moore are proud to welcome him to Team GM.
With two test series this summer, England captain Michael Vaughan will have a busy season as will Ryan Sidebottom and Stuart Broad, both of whom have made a big impression since joining the England set-up.
The test season starts with a series against New Zealand, where GM stars Daniel Flynn, Tim Southee, Ross Taylor and Peter Fulton will all be pushing hard for test places and a chance to beat England on their home turf.
The second touring side in 2008 is South Africa which will feature a galaxy of Team GM stars. Captain Graeme Smith is joined by Herschelle Gibbs, Neil McKenzie, Mark Boucher and Ashwell Prince, so the test series with England could be one of the most exciting of all time.
