The Wave Ghost Striker offers a striking new design and comes packed with technology. This new addition builds on Mizuno's heritage of delivering exceptional footwear and is the result of extensive research and development obsessed with delivering the ultimate in speed, comfort and fit.
The upper material is made from supple Kangaroo leather that comes complete with a fold over tongue that offers a welcoming initial fit - the tongue's backing is designed to comfortably form the bridge of the foot. The double stitched upper also offers improved shaped retention.
The firm ground outsole features Rivaldo's signature stud configuration. The former Brazilian World Player of the Year worked alongside biomechanical and movement analysts to deliver an outsole that offers optimum traction, agility and freedom of foot movement.
The newly launched Ghost Outsole offers a separate heel and forefoot area made from graded pebax. The design enables rigidity in the mid-foot with enhanced flexion in the forefoot and stability in the rear plate. The heel unit of the Ghost Outsole offers an integrated wave plate that further enhances cushioning and stability on both soft and firm surfaces.
