2008 sees a host of new brands and features at the UK's only trade event dedicated to the boardsports industry. This September, no other event can match the array of new hardware and apparel on display from some of the world's leading brands in surf, skate, windsurfing, mountainboarding and kitesurfing.
Building on the success of 2007 and Surf Shop's reputation as the leading trade event for surf hardware, apparel, accessories and associated free sports, over 150 brands will come together for three days of business and networking.
Brands already confirmed for 2008 include Da Kine, Extreme Raw State, Firewire, Fox Racing, O'Neill Wetsuits, Pipeline Surfboards, Plain Lazy, Protest, Reef, Saltrock, Street Surfing, Trespass, Triple Five Soul, Urban Beach, Weirdfish, Xcess Skates and many more.
Asked about plans for the 2008 show, exhibition director Lucy McPhail highlighted growth in the categories showing increasing popularity with visitors. "New for 2008 will be an increase in hardware and apparel from skate, mountainboard and BMX. Many retail buyers told us that this is what they wanted to see and Surf Shop 2008 promises to deliver, both in new niche brands and market-leading brand names."
