Ronhill, the leading British running brand, is seeing robust growth across the board, despite the prevailing economic headwinds, with a strong order book for winter, up a record 30 per cent.
This, in turn, has led to greater investment in marketing and an expansion of the sales force. Jon Wild takes over as UK Sales Manager, a former international athlete, Jon hands responsibility over for North West England, Scotland and Ireland over to Andrew Norman, who joins the team with four years experience at Sweatshop. Jon also extends the sales team's relationship with international athletics, a growing trend at Ronhill, having twice been a British National Champion whilst also having competed at the World Cross Country Championships and the Commonwealth Games.
As a further part of the expanding and recruiting programme, and the brand's strategy for managing impressive growth, Ronhill has recruited Andrew Norman as the sales representative for Scotland and the North East. Andrew, who was previously with Sweatshop, as manager of their Hyde store, has his own background in running.
His father, Jeff Norman, was an Olympic marathoner who competed with Ron Hill in Montreal and Andrew is a member of Altrincham and District Athletics Club and the Manchester Triathlon Club. He has also run for the Great Britain Mountain Running Team and Road Running Team as well as competing for the North of England in track, field and cross country events.
