Ispo winter 09 hots up the action for winter sports business
Ispo winter 2009 has launched its communications campaign with the UK and Ireland in style. Firstly, with members of Allied Partners and ISRA attending the world renowned Oktoberfest in Munich to exchange ideas and information with Performance ispo and Running Order Show teams as well as other European retail groups. More recently, the official launch party for ispo winter 2009 took place in London at the Metro Ski & Snowboard show, where brand and retail industry guests, from sport, outdoor and wintersport all enjoyed the opening day of this superb event, followed by a networking party at Olympia jointly hosted by ispo and Metro Ski & Snowboard Show
Performance ispo, featuring core sports, will also include a focus on functional fabrics in the new Textrend area and the Runners World Action Point will also be a key focal point, also providing information on Running Order Show 2009. There is a strong presence from key UK exhibitors with the FSPA once more co-ordinating a group visit and providing an expert service to assist exhibitors with applications for DTI export grants. Sports Source Europe (previously the ispo sourcing hall) is now a feature within ispo and in 2009 it has already doubled in size to command two packed halls.
Visitor interest has already been high and is now easier than ever with registration and ticketing entirely online. Advance registration opens from the beginning of November where retailers are able to purchase tickets until mid December at earlybird and online booking discount rates.
