New Appointment Signals Fresh Intent From Skins

Ian Reid has been appointed as Skins' new UK Marketing Manager. Ian arrives at the Australian high-tech compression apparel firm as it prepares for a raft of new product launches and marketing initiatives in 2009.

The 39-year-old joins from adidas where he enjoyed a 12-year career - most recently as Consumer Relations Manager.  He'd previously held positions at the industry giant as Retail Support Manager and Retail Marketing Executive.

Ian's career started within the sports retail sector where he managed stores for many well known High Street retailers, so he has in-depth knowledge and experience of the UK sporting goods market.

David Ling, General Manager of Skins UK said: "Ian's joined Skins at a time when sales have seen rapid growth and brand awareness is increasing amongst active British adults.  We're looking forward to seeing him help take the brand onto even greater success."

Ian's, who's currently completing an MBA, is a keen golfer and a lifelong Liverpool FC fan.
