Innovation: at the heart of Rossignol
Rossignol, the brand with the richest heritage in the ski sports industry, is preparing for the European launch of their 09/10 range at ispo.
As usual Rossignol, exhibiting in hall B5, stand 101, with their unsurpassed know-how and experience in snowsports, have developed concepts and designs that will stand out from the other exhibitors in Munich.
After opening an entirely new era in skiing with the Seven Artistic Sins range launched in 08/09, Rossignol have continued their work with the seven artists and will be launching seven new freestyle skis based around the same concept for 09/10.
The artists have again created seven original artworks for each of the seven skis which make up part of the Rossignol Twin Tip range but it is not only the new artwork which has been developed - the skis themselves have been revolutionized with the introduction of the ?igma Profile. The all new twin tip, with patented technology which is available on the S7 and S3 skis, has been voted the most versatile reverse camber ski at this years ski tests across Europe. The ?igma Profile skis are two skis in one: piste sidecut and powder sidecut, providing users with regular camber and radius underfoot along with reverse camber on tip and tale.
This year Rossignol will be further enhancing their True Colours programme, the innovative market-leading concept which set up with the clear of objective of creating a feminine style of skiing unique to the brand by launching two new All Mountain skis and two new Freeski Skis at ispo. The eco-friendly Attraxion Echo and the Attraxion 12, designed with oversized sidecuts and feminine graphics for maximum performance and style, are added to the All Mountain range which already includes the pioneering Harmony 2 with unique women waist concept. Enhancing the Freeski range is the versatile B86 and revolutionary B98, designed using the ?igma Profile, bringing reverse camber and reverse sidecuts, previously only seen in men's skis, to female skis.
Rossignol will also use ispo to highlight their successful Radical Worldcup Race range which has again been improved for 09/10. Now made using a sandwich construction technique involving wood core, fiberglass, a steel edge and reinforced titanial sidewalls this range is certain to surpass the 38 podium finishes already achieved in 08/09.
