KMF 2008 winners
The Kendal Mountain Festival's 2008 film competition results have been announced after the KMF in November. From over 300 films submitted the judges considered 85 films in competition, including 30 premieres.
The organisers wish to thank all sponsors, funders and everyone involved for their help and energy in creating yet another hugely successful Festival.
Both the Grand Prize award and Best Climbing Film went to Alastair Lee's On Sight; Best Mountaineering Film went to Ice, Anarchy & The Pursuit Of Madness by Steve House; the Judges Special Prize went to Andy Parkin: A Life In Adaptation by Dom Green and Pip Piper; People's Choice Award went to Beyond The Summits by Remy Tezier; and the Judge's Special Mention went to Hand Cut, by Nick Waggoner.
