Haglöfs moves house
Haglöfs UK have announced that they will be moving into new offices at Staveley Mill Yard, Staveley, just north of Kendal. Commenting on the development, Country Manager Neil Bradley explained that: "the facility measures 2000 sq ft and will provide showroom, meeting and support facilities for services such as product training, invoicing and prompt returns processing.
It's fantastic to have a home for the brand and to be able to locate essential support services within the market. This is a significant investment for us, but we want Haglöfs to be accessible to our customers and easy to deal with. We've chosen a location with great transport connections and some wonderful landscape in which to be able to offer field training." The offices will be open for business from the start of the New Year and presentations of the AW09 line are already scheduled.
Asked about current business Neil commented that fortunately sales were holding up well despite the state of the high street; "Certainly it's a tough trading environment, and we know we have a great deal to do to support our customers, but at the moment there's a bit of a positive groundswell about Haglöfs; people like the product."
In other developments, Haglöfs have appointed Paul Vousden as their sales representative for the North/Midlands. Paul was previously the training coordinator with Cotswold Outdoor and will start January 5th 2009. "Paul is a keen outdoor enthusiast and brings a wealth of enthusiasm and professionalism to the team." Haglöfs are also recruiting for an office manager.
