Italian clothing company Kappa has signed a sponsorship deal with boxer Joe Calzaghe; the deal was signed just prior to Calzaghe's fight with Roy Jones Jr at Madison Square Garden in early November.
Kappa brings Italian style to the ring with a range of products developed exclusively for Joe and his team.
This is Kappa's first move into product sponsorship in boxing. Epitomising the marriage of Italian heritage with world-class style and performance, Joe Calzaghe is the perfect representative for this iconic brand.
