Amer appoints new MD
Amer Sports, the world's largest sports equipment company, has appointed Keith Wishart as the new Managing Director for its operations in the UK and Ireland.
Amer Sports is the parent company of many of sport's most well-known and successful global brands and Keith has responsibility for the performance of Wilson Sporting Goods, Salomon, Precor, Atomic and Suunto in this country.
Keith, 44, joins Amer Sports from Procter & Gamble, where he was Sales Director across Western Europe. "The UK is a major market for Amer Sports' brands and I'm really looking forward to working in the sports industry," said Keith, who takes over from Michael White, recently promoted to the role of General Manager, Europe.
