Trail blazing ahead - new Regatta footwear for autumn / winter 2006
Entering its fourth season, Regatta continues to introduce great new footwear styles in a bid to becoming a leading force in the outdoor footwear market.
With the Autumn/Winter season in mind, there are more waterproof options, an increased lifestyle range including a warm winter lined boot and more options for children.
New in the Boot range is the Morain Mid (Lady Morain Mid), an entry-level boot with understated styling and key features synonymous with the Regatta range of footwear – wicking lining, deep padded collar and tongue for comfort, rubberised toe and heel bumpers for durability and protection, duel density shock absorbing footbed and compression moulded midsole for comfort and stability and a lightweight hiking carbon rubber outsole for maximum grip on most terrain.
The Meltwater (Lady Meltwater) boot is an Isotex waterproof and breathable lined option based on the popular Meander Mid boot introduced for the Spring / Summer 2005 season.
In the Trail shoe range there are 2 new waterproof options – the seam sealed Groundwork (Lady Groundwork) and Isotex lined Watershed X-LT (Lady Watershed X-LT). The Groundwork is a great budget waterproof option also available in childrens sizes and colourways. The Watershed X-LT is Regatta’s new top of the range Isotex waterproof and breathable trail shoe.
New for travel and everyday wear is the Enroute X-LT (Lady Enroute X-LT) offering a lightweight waterproof leather option. The Avenue shoe and Narnia boot are new additions to the women’s lifestyle travel range.In addition to the Groundwork Junior trail shoe, children get the Sidestep Junior boot and waterproof Floodplain Mid Junior boot increasing the number of boot options for children.
To maximise sales Regatta has made merchandising a priority for stockists which includes a extensive range of PoS material. Within the PoS collection are:
logoboards, fabric hangers for key fabric messages, banners, showcards and window stickers illustrating new styles for men, women and children.
