Under Armour add to leadership
Two top executives have been promoted and two other individuals have been named to key positions as Under Armour (UARM) continue their growth.
Wayne Marino has been promoted to EVP/CFO to oversee the company's Sales operations and Production Planning units. He will continue to hold responsibility for the accounting and finance, information technology, distribution, facilities and HR departments. Marino joined UARM as VP/CFO in January 2004 and was named SVP/CFO in 2005. Prior to joining UARM, he served as CFO of Nautica Enterprises. William Kraus was named SVP/marketing.He had been VP/sports marketing, team sales and licensing. Kraus will assume the senior leadership position for the product creation and merchandising functions and will also oversee the brand marketing organization,
as well as the sports marketing team. Prior to joining UARM in 2002, Kraus served as director of eastern retail sales of Champion Products.
Richard Zielinski has joined UARM as VP/technical services. In this new position, he will oversee fabric development, product development and quality assurance. Zielinski most recently served as divisional VP/May Merchandising Corp. He will report directly to Kip Fulks, SVP/sourcing and quality assurance. Tony O'Neill has joined the company as sales director/Europe. Based in the company's new European headquarters in Amsterdam, he will work to build the company's network of direct sales, distributors and agents in the European market. Prior to joining UARM, O'Neill was head of sales, Continental Europe of Adidas Golf.
