NEW BALANCE CELEBRATE THEIR CENTENARY AT FLIMBY
Over 300 employees from across Europe joined New Balance to celebrate their 100th year anniversary in Cumbria. With a theme of Enduring Performance the Centennial celebrations objective was twofold, to recognize and thank those who have contributed to their success and to build awareness of their rich heritage of athletic performance, innovation and ongoing guiding principles towards social awareness and responsible corporate leadership. Typical for the Brand that does not endorse athletes or celebrities, this “party” was a celebrity free zone.
Said Alistair Cameron, Managing Director for Europe, Middle East and Africa: “2006 provides a real and important moment to reflect on the path New Balance has travelled to reach its Brand position in the market today. With an order book of plus 25% in addition to 22% growth year on year, with 29% in the UK, and with 2007 looking to deliver 40% growth (including exports), New Balance in Europe has set the stage for the future.”
