Sportax sign pan-European deal with Extreme
Bolton based company Sportax Limited have signed a multi million pound pan European licensing deal with the UK based Extreme International. The 5 year deal, which covers both fashion and technical apparel as well as luggage and headwear, will capitalise on the growing reputation of the Extreme brand in the action sports sector.
Due to be launched at retail next year, the product range will be sold to core sports outlets and fashion oriented stores. The Sportax deal is one of many key licensing agreements, being handled by licensing agents Performance Brands, for the Extreme group who anticipate licensed sales of between 250 and 300 million pounds in the next five years. Sportax Limited, who also have a showroom and office in Amsterdam, are also a key European apparel and accessory licensee for major league baseball which boasts the famous New York Yankees as it's key brand.
