Uhlsport Announce UK Subsidiary
From October 2nd Uhlsport will officially be operating in the UK with its own subsidiary company, Uhlsport UK Limited, based in Didsbury. The direction of the new subsidiary will be spearheaded by UK Sales Manager Colin Hay, formerly with Umbro, then Ellesse and Russell Athletic. Hay told SGB UK , “I am thrilled to be back in the business where I started, football, with a premium brand that has exciting plans to expand into broad soccer product.”
Uhlsport UK Limited have taken on four key sales representatives and will be working closely with all buying groups as part of their strong commitment to the independent trade. A sales and customer services support team has also been recruited.
The move to open a dedicated Uhlsport subsidiary follows the opening of a new global head office and state of the art warehousing facilities in Balingen, near Stuttgart. Launches of the new Uhlsport product range will start in the UK within the next month
