Amateur swimming association appoints new business manager to south west
The Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) has strengthened its business team with the appointment of Alan Green in the South West region.
Green has taken up the role of ASA business manager for the south west to help improve the quality of swimming delivery across the region.
Working as part of the commercial team,Green will help support existing customers with all their swimming needs and also bring new customers on board, helping them to maximise the potential of their swimming programmes.
Since leaving school,Green has been working as part of the management team of Ledbury Swimming Pool. Through his time at the pool, he has gained a vast knowledge of ASA products and services that the business team provides.
Green started with the business team on the 2nd April, and as SGB UK went to print was said to be enjoying his first two weeks on the job.
“I am enjoying my role within the business team so far,” he said. “I am looking forward to getting out there and meeting people at other centres. I am keen to make an impact on swimming and improve provision within the area.”
“I am excited to be working for the ASA,with London 2012 just around the corner it is an exciting time to be involved with sport.”
ASA business manager Mandy Mason is pleased to welcome Green to the team.
“Alan is bringing a wealth of knowledge to the job,” she said.“Coming from a leisure management background he will prove to be an asset to the ASA business team and provide his customers with the best possible guidance.”
